Overview

The Ambassador Signature is Halong Bay's go-to luxury overnight cruise for Indian travellers who want the full experience without stretching to ultra-premium pricing. Launched in 2019, the 25-cabin wooden junk combines traditional Balinese junk architecture with modern amenities — air-conditioned cabins, an en-suite bathroom with bathtub in Deluxe and Suite categories, a rooftop sundeck with sun loungers, a well-stocked bar, and a dining room that serves both Balinese and international meals. The two-day, one-night itinerary takes you through the heart of Halong Bay, stopping at Sung Sot (Amazing) Cave, kayaking through hidden lagoons, and anchoring overnight at one of the bay's secluded spots. Indian dietary requests (vegetarian, Jain, no-pork) are accommodated with 48-hour advance notice. The ship departs from Tuan Chau International Marina (a 1.5-hour drive from Hanoi with our transfer included) and returns the following afternoon. This is the cruise we recommend most often to our Indian clients looking for the best balance of quality, service and value.
