Bali has a single, island-wide tropical climate (about 26–32°C year round) — there is no north/south split. The dry season (April–October) is the best time to visit, with May–September ideal; the wet season (November–March) brings short afternoon downpours but warm, often-bright mornings. Here is how each month looks for Mumbai travellers.

Indian passport holders can enter Bali (Indonesia) on a Visa on Arrival — there is no advance embassy visa to arrange.
Indian travellers get Indonesia’s Visa on Arrival (VoA): IDR 500,000 (about ₹3,000 / ~US$35), payable by card or cash on arrival at Denpasar airport, valid 30 days and extendable once for a further 30 days. You can instead pre-apply the e-VOA online before travel at the official Indonesian immigration portal molina.imigrasi.go.id. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months with a blank page. Separately, Bali charges a one-time tourist levy of IDR 150,000 (about ₹900) per person, paid online via the Love Bali portal (lovebali.baliprov.go.id) or on arrival. Use our Bali Visa Status Checker for step-by-step guidance.
