Overview of Tegallalang
Tegallalang, just north of Ubud, is home to Bali's most photographed rice terraces — steep, sculpted paddies fed by the traditional subak irrigation system, dotted with jungle swings and view cafés.
It is an easy, scenic half-day from Ubud and a favourite for photos, the Bali Swing and a relaxed walk among the terraces.
Best Time to Visit Tegallalang
Bali has two seasons — a dry season from April to October and a wetter season from November to March. The dry months are sunny, less humid and ideal for beaches, temples and island trips; the wet season still has plenty of sunshine between short, heavy afternoon showers.
